Maybe extraterrestrials are trying to get a glimpse of the celebs, and are big fans of their music or movies too. Either that or celebrities have access to some pretty mind-bending drugs! But you can make up your mind whether or not you believe them, and we have listed their claims below.
So convinced is Mick Jagger that extraterrestrials exist, he installed UFO detectors around his home. He has claimed to have had a couple of encounters throughout his life. The first one was in an area that is already notorious for reports of paranormal activity, Glastonbury in the UK.
He was camping with his then girlfriend Marianne Faithfull when he asserts that he saw a spaceship that was cigar shaped and glowing. Apparently, this spacecraft returned before a Rolling Stone’s concert in Altamont a year later.
Robbie may even give up the music business because of his belief in aliens, to study UFOs as a fulltime career. He claims that he has had a few encounters, including giant golden light balls that appear when he sings a song called “Arizona,” which happens to be about – you guessed it – alien encounters.
Apparently, the golden light balls have the power to stop him from singing.
Aliens love our earth music it seems – in 1974 John Lennon believed he saw a hovering UFO with red lights near New York’s East River. And years later they apparently came to visit him in his apartment, waking him from his sleep. Lennon said they looked like bugs and played him the movie of his life. They gave him the gift of a metallic egg that he eventually gave the famous magician Uri Geller as a gift.
Dan Aykroyd believes even the Air Force don’t deny his claims that he has witnessed an alien aircraft. Apparently one of his drivers once worked as a cook in the Air Force’s Strategic Air Command, and they saw images on a radar screen that had no natural explanation. He also has said he has had a UFO hovering directly over him once in his life.
You wouldn’t have wanted to argue with Muhammad Ali’s claims that he had many encounters with UFOs. He is reported to have said that he experienced a glowing bright light once when jogging in Central Park with his manager, who didn’t see it himself.
Elvis claims to have had many experiences with extraterrestrials who were keen to meet the king of rock and roll, and his hair stylist was his lucky confidant to these experiences. He claims to have witnessed strange lights on various occasions around his Graceland home, and also in the desert.
After a hard day’s work as Captain Kirk dealing with actors pretending to be aliens, apparently, William Shatner witnessed the real thing – maybe they wanted to give him advice on how to have authentic interstellar experiences. He reported that he once crashed his bike in the desert and was rescued by a shadowy figure that led him to a space craft hovering in the sky.
Russell Crowe even took to social media to report on the strange lights he had witnessed when attempting to take pictures of bats and uploaded images to Twitter that he claimed he had not photo-shopped. Skeptics have since retorted by saying it was probably just a helicopter.
So strong is John Travolta’s belief in extraterrestrials that it became his religion. Travolta has been an active member of the Church of Scientology since the early 1970s. They believe that we are all reincarnated from alien creatures called Thetans, but we have no memory of our origins – however his religion can apparently re-jog those memories for us.
If the original Starman claimed that he had alien encounters, then we are probably going to be most tempted to believe him more than anyone else. Bowie was almost an alien creature himself, so his claims that he and a friend witnessed an extraterrestrial doorway hovering above a field would not come as a surprise to us if it was proven to have happened.
